The goal for this standalone landing page for the Interagency Working Group on Coal & Power Plant Communities & Economic Revitalization was to break down technical information into a digestible layout for the masses. It was built to answer one question: what does the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law actually mean for my town?

Keeping the audience in mind, the design leaned on creative section breaks, alternating light and dark sections, photography, and warm colors so it never read like a standard government website. The page opens on the question, then flows into the answer — funding categories are broken out as charts, eligibility and funding types set side-by-side, a state-by-state map showing where energy communities sit, and a filterable table of every program with its status, agency, and eligible recipients.
